Plainly taking influence from Brutalist architecture and those who pioneered it, the Tadao armchair comprises of two contrasting parts. The first is a square, heavy, minimal, brutalist structure that wraps and holds in place four soft and inviting cushions.
Brutalism doesn’t try to hide but instead is proud of every element, by the same token, TADAO’s exposed structure adds functionality, the unique proportions offering ample space to rest an arm, a glass or a book.
